If you’re running AP Racing Pro 5000 R series calipers and noticing a knocking or rattling noise under braking or over bumps, you’re not alone. This is a common issue caused by brake pad movement inside the caliper. While it’s not a fault, it can be distracting and concerning, especially on road or trackday cars where cabin noise and vibration are more noticeable.

This Brake Pad Anti-Knock Kit is a simple but highly effective solution that greatly reduces brake pad movement. It tightens up the fit between the pads and caliper body, helping to eliminate pad knock and giving you a quieter, more refined braking experience—without affecting performance or pad wear.

Fits the following AP Racing calipers:

• 6-piston: CP9660

One kit includes parts for both calipers.

What’s included:

• 4 x precision-machined anti-rattle blocks
• 4 x stainless steel spring clips (two of each per caliper)

Installation:
The most efficient method is to remove the brake caliper, install the anti-knock kit, and then refit the brake pads. Installation takes only a few minutes per caliper and delivers a long-term fix for pad movement.

Please note:
